PMSM construction
Permanent-magnet synchronous AC servo platform for responsive speed, torque and position control.
Precision AC motion platforms
Compact permanent-magnet AC servo motor families for accurate speed, torque and position control—configured with matched feedback, drive electronics, gearbox and mechanical interfaces.

AS Series permanent-magnet platform
Seven frame platforms provide high-response servo motors for matched motion systems. Motor, feedback and drive are selected together for the required speed, torque and positioning duty; final ratings are confirmed against the operating cycle.

Selection note: Frame size is the square mounting-flange dimension, not motor body length. Values are representative family envelopes across motor lengths, windings and speed classes; rated power, peak torque and maximum speed are not one simultaneous operating point. Final continuous and peak duty is confirmed with the matched servo drive. *142 mm output depends strongly on motor length, voltage and cooling.
Matched servo electronics
A servo motor achieves its commanded motion through a correctly matched drive, feedback device and control architecture. SDT selects the motor and drive together around the supply, motion profile, peak duty, feedback resolution and machine interface.

Control matched to the application
The servo drive regulates motor current and uses feedback to close the control loops required by the machine. Correct pairing supports stable response, repeatable positioning and reliable protection across the operating cycle.
Available functions, communications and safety features vary by drive platform and are confirmed during application review.
Performance-led servo selection
Selection extends beyond frame size and rated power. The motor, feedback, drive and mechanical interface are matched as one system around the required motion profile.
Applicable platforms provide peak torque around 300% of rated torque and peak speed up to 5,000 rpm for rapid acceleration and controlled deceleration.
Incremental or multi-turn absolute feedback can be paired with matched 220 V or 400 V servo drives for speed, torque or position control.
Shaft variants, keyed or tapped ends, oil seals, holding brakes, connectors and matched cables support practical OEM integration.
Capability varies by series and frame size. Peak duty, feedback, protection and drive pairing are confirmed during application review.
Encoder or resolver selected for commutation, speed and position-control accuracy.
Current, voltage, control mode and protection matched to the chosen winding and duty.
Planetary or application-specific gearbox selected for ratio, backlash and output loading.
Shaft, flange, connectors and mounting details adapted to the equipment envelope.
Fail-safe holding brake and release voltage configured where the axis requires it.
Verified motor-drive configuration documented for repeatable OEM production.
